Sara Pintado is a creative facilitator working predominantly in the medium of photography, installation and performance. Having a strong influence from Art Therapy and Pedagogical Practices, her praxis focuses on art as a tool for social-emotional literacy and the potential for collaborative art practices to enable positive social change. While exhibiting her work internationally, she is exploring ways in which photography can reveal the social construction of emotions. This ongoing project aims to provide an immersive experience through art installation and participatory art practices. Her art collaborations aim to engage with participants in dialogue reflecting on social issues such as identity, mental health and education. She has exhibited her work internationally and she currently works with Creativity Art Workshops running art workshops in North-West London.
